Overview
Keepy Uppy Footy ("the app", "the game") is developed by The Computer Lab ("we", "us"). This page explains what happens to your information when you play the game.
The honest answer is: very little happens, because the app itself doesn't collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Information we collect
We don't collect any information. Keepy Uppy Footy has no backend servers, no account system, and no analytics or advertising software embedded in it. We have no way of seeing how you play, who you are, or any data about your device.
High scores and local storage
Your current best streak is saved locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage. This information never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and is automatically removed if you delete the app.
Game Center
If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Keepy Uppy Footy uses Apple's Game Center service to power the global leaderboard. This means your Game Center nickname and your score are shared with Apple in order to display the leaderboard, exactly as with any other Game Center–enabled app.
This data is handled by Apple under their own privacy policy, not ours — we never see or have access to it. You can review how Apple handles Game Center data in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Game Center is entirely optional. If you decline to sign in, the game works exactly the same, you just won't appear on the global leaderboard.
Advertising and tracking
Keepy Uppy Footy contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We don't know who downloads or plays the game beyond the anonymous, aggregate figures Apple provides to every developer through App Store Connect.
Children's privacy
Because the app collects no personal data at all, this applies equally regardless of the player's age. We don't knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If anything about the app's data practices ever changes — for example, if a future update adds a new feature that handles data differently — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will reflect that change.
